MTunes ist einer der führenden konzernunabhängigen Anbieter im Markt der digitalen Musik¬distribution in Europa.
Als Content Aggregator betreut MTunes über 500 Labelpartner mit einem Repertoire von mehr als 70.000 Titeln. Der musikalische Schwerpunkt liegt hier, neben Jazz und World Music, insbesondere im Bereich der elektronischen Musik, wo das MTunes Team eine hohe Expertise aufweist.
Folgerichtig werden nicht nur die großen Stores wie Apple iTunes, T-Online MusicLoad, Napster, eMusic, Yahoo! Music, Zune, Amazon oder Real / Rhapsody bedient. MTunes beliefert mit großem Erfolg ebenso Independent- und Spezial-Shops wie Beatport, Tunetribe, Juno, Release Records, Traxsource oder DJDownload. In der mobilen Welt wurden bereits Fulltrack-Partner wie Jamba, Telefonica, Net-M, Vodafone, Nareos oder Arvato Mobile gewonnen. Insgesamt erhalten knapp 120 Vertriebspartner das MTunes Repertoire, was mehr als 300 Online-Stores entspricht.
Das vorrangige Ziel seiner Arbeit sieht MTunes in der optimalen Auswertung des Repertoires der betreuten Labels und Künstler. Es wird daher ein besonderer Schwerpunkt auf die Vermarktung und Promotion des Repertoires gelegt. Basierend auf einer hohen A&R Kompetenz übernimmt MTunes beispielsweise die weitere Auswertung und Veredelung der Kataloge über digitale Compilations, übernimmt das In-Store Marketing und organisiert Artist Specials. In der Zukunft wird MTunes diesen Bereich noch deutlich ausbauen und dem Service-Spektrum weitere Marketingbausteine hinzufügen. |
